The Academic Council on UN System (ACUNS) Annual Meeting was held in the Hague, the Netherlands, from June 11st to 13rd 2015. Mr. LIU Zhixian, Vice-President and Director-General of the United Nations Association of China (UNA-China) and Secretary-General of China Academic Network of UN Studies (CANUNS) led a Chinese delegation to attend the Meeting. 

Mr. LIU Zhixian made a keynote speech on The United Nations, Global Governance and China's participation at the 3rd plenary meeting with the theme of Global Governance and the Future of the United Nations: The Maintenance of Security and Justice. Ms. LI Dongyan, Member of the Executive Board of the UNA-China and Researcher of Institute of World Economics and Politics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), delivered a speech on Civil protection, Security Governance and China's participation at the East Asia symposium.
