The first Civil Society Forum of BRICS was held in Moscow, Russia from June 29th to July 1st 2015. A Chinese Delegation, composed of representatives from the United Nations Association of China (UNA-China), Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Fudan University, participated in the Forum. The delegation was led by Amb. SHEN Guofang, Executive Board Member of the UNA-China and First Deputy Chairman of China Foundation of International Studies. Mr. ZHANG Yi, Deputy Director of the UNA-China, was elected the Co-Chair of Steering Committee of the Forum. The Forum adopted a declaration that was submitted to the Leaders’ Meeting of the BRICS.
